Executive Summary
This project is design in a way to support women, youth and the large population empowering in order to engage in business process and practice of sorghum, sesame and groundnut through farming and value addition chain process.
The project will be implemented in Central Equatoria State and Eastern Equatoria State, Jonglei State and Lake State. It targets four States and cooperatives of women and youths from the rural areas of South Sudan.
Thus, we expect this project will equip women, youth and the large population with agricultural best practices in sorghum, sesame, sunflower, groundnut and vegetables as well giving provision to market their products and process it into edible oil. In addition, women and youth will directly benefit in term of capital increase, knowledge, access to tools and employment.
Therefore, Elaag Agriculture Company Limited looks forward to enhance capacity building of women and youth because they are model for sustainable development in our societies.
The climate change has effect the whole world and with increase in population the demand for food has increase in the wide world, the land of South Sudan is the solution for food security.
